Biography
Monte Reger was a rodeo announcer and entertainer. He is most known for his rodeo act with "Bobby," a Long Horn bull.

Scope & Content Note  

The Papers features negatives, photographs, and transparencies documenting Monte Reger’s rodeo entertainment career. There are also advertisements for the Doby Springs Rodeo, and Reger’s act with his bull Bobby.

The Papers was originally processed in 1997. Due to preservation concerns the Papers was reprocessed in 2013 to current archival standards.

The Papers was donated to the Dickinson Research Center in 1997 by Virginia Reger, daughter of Monte Reger.
