Processing Information

Organization: The collection contains over-sized materials, loose letters, published materials, and bound scrapbook clippings. For preservation, the over-sized materials were placed in flat file folders and located in the flat file drawer. The loose published materials and letters originally located within scrapbooks were separated from the scrapbooks and placed in box 1 folders. A Separation Sheet documenting the removal of material was completed for each specific over-sized and box folder. Chronological order within the file folders was duplicated when possible.

Accession: The collection was received prior to 2001, but not accessioned until 2001 by Pam Bell.

Processing: Carl Studer's original folder entitled "Value of Rodeo to Community" was organized into Series 1, folders 1-4. All other collection materials were located within the 5 scrapbooks under Series 2. Loose materials found within a scrapbook were separated into oversize or box folders. This procedure maintained the original location and order of separated materials. Separation Sheets are within the respective locations.
